Antique 18k rose gold marquise ring (hallmark: owl), set with a beautiful, deep red spinel weighing 2.96 carats, surrounded by old-cut diamonds with a total estimated weight of approximately 1.65 carats (estimated color H to I, estimated clarity VS).
Ring accompanied by a Carat Gem Lab certificate, specifying natural spinel from Vietnam that has not undergone any heat treatment.
Victorian work of the 19th century.

Condition: very slight micro-scratches on the gold parts, slight wear on the stones, and minor chips on the spinel and diamonds; see photos.
